Content warning The Old Goat and the Alien. Slight spoiler, chapter eleven.
A large aardvark-shape came in, soft nose quivering, his black fur shining with a blue-green iridescence. He wore a blue shawl around his shoulders, spectacles on his nose, and carried a large case under one arm, gripped with long, flexible claws. 'I'm here about a sick human? Jenna, wasn't it? Oh.' He sniffed toward me politely, as if only just remembering. 'I'm Vya.'
I sniffed back, and hated how much I instantly liked him.
