Shaun David Hutchinson: Before We Disappear (2021, HarperCollins Publishers) 5 stars

The Prestige meets What If It’s Us in Before We Disappear, a queer ahistorical fantasy …

Content warning Slight spoiler.

Delyth Angharad: Warden (EBook, 2021, Delyth Angharad) 4 stars

It's not often someone gets the drop on Alwyn Jove, Imperial Warden and powerful magic-wielder—but …

Lovely book

4 stars

I liked reading Warden. It is quite gentle and lightly written and there is humour! Delyth also uses a lot of nice words in this novella.

There were some words that I have never read before and actually I really love that. There were so much delightful words! I mean, I do not often come across a work where the word 'gaol' is used, so I love it when I see it being used. It might seem old-fashioned, but that is what I like about it.

I really liked the writing style of this novella!

Erin Ekins: Queerly Autistic (2021) 4 stars

Review of 'Queerly Autistic' on 'Storygraph'

4 stars

This is a very useful book. It sheds some light on several LGBTQIA+ topics and especially in combination with Autism. There are chapters about sexuality, gender, coming out, relationships, LGBTQIA+ spaces, and more.
A downside of this book is that it is mostly focusing on the United Kingdom. A lot of resources are given, though a lot of them are for the UK. More international resources would have been more helpful, I think.
Also, some texts are repeated several times. Good if you want to not read everything. Not really nice if you want to read everything in one reading.
